Kids in November

So it's another in a long series of monthly postings without fail! We should be lauded for our consistency!

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming:

He bonked his head on something or other which is a wonderful excuse to play with a cold pack

Molly Mitchell - fashionista

This head covering is part of her fall collection

On sale now wherever finer goods are sold!

Funny faces time

Outside the Museum of Play in Rochester - a seriously huge children's museum
though it had quite a lot of video games and screens for such a place

Eating nasty oysters.  Jake couldn't get enough.  He is definitely NOT a picky eater.

Jake and Grandpa Ray

Chewing on fountain pens is totally normal and totally delicious.  I regret nothing!!

The first snowfall of the year requires hot chocolate

To which the children had no objection whatsoever

Just wild animals brawling it out.  Nothing to see here.

Tornado warning - all important persons crammed into the basement pantry

He does love pictures of himself

Jake is a master at the scowl

But he can't hold it for very long

Hi, remember us adults? We're around sometimes on this side of the camera, too.

Maybe we should have kept this up?

So, yeah, hi. No one is checking this anymore because we haven't posted since we lived on the other side of the country a year and a half ago...

But here are some cute photos from October! Don't hate our laziness! Enjoy the cuteness!

Hi! We live in Cleveland now! It just happened now and not 18 months ago!

Step 1: See puddle.
Step 2: Walk in fully clothed wearing regular shoes.
Step 3: When asked to leave said puddle, just sit down in it for thorough soaking.

Attempt #1 at school pictures. Retake day to come.
And why is she so sanguine about being lost in the woods?

AZ trip for Grandma's birthday. Turns out thatLake Havasu is pretty hilly.
I tried to crop out the "Dead End" portion of the Mitchell Lane street sign...

If Uncle Chris is doing push-ups, everybody has to get in on this action.
Heidi was pretty strict with counting - she got stuck on 3 so Chris had to just keep
churning them out.

Yay! I took this photo during one of the few times they were all happy at the same time.

I will call this a "hot tub" only to help identify it.
Yes, while warmer than the freezing pool, it was not hot at all.

Party till you drop.

Poor Jake got sick spent quite a lot of time throwing up. But he was such a trooper.
And we made it rain Pedialite pops.

The Hoover Dam was really cool.  The kids were unimpressed and hot and hangry,
hence their spectacular poses for this picture.
It's not clear how much he actually ate vs. wore.

Happy Halloween!
